Summary

Elliot: My career took focus in my life while trying to make a name for myself in a male dominated field. I kept my gender under wraps until I was able to let my expertise speak for itself. But I was knocked off my axis when I ran into Arden, the man I had compared all men to since our one night together. Now he was taken - by another man - a very dominant man.

Arden: The love I had for my man ran deep. But I'd never forgotten her. From the very beginning, Daimen and I agreed to our non-traditional life - two men loving one another until we found that woman we could claim as ours. Now, she was standing in front of me, unaware she was a marked woman.

Daimen: I had loved my best friend from an early age. The day Arden submitted to me, was a dream come true. That was until a sexy and sassy blonde entered our life and turned it upside down. I see something in her that scared me. But I would make her mine, mine and Arden's. Claiming hatred would follow us everywhere, Elliot fought us at every turn.

Will the three of us create our own unconventional happily ever after, or will she leave us heartbroken?

Contains mature themes.

Not much depth

Aside from the cringiest part of the book being the nicknames, there was not much character development. It was hard to believe a connection between Damien and Elle because there were no real conversations. Even the love scenes didn't seem that intense other than the author having to say "it was earth shattering." Until the end, nothing really happen and all those characters seem to come out of nowhere.

She wanders alone

Why is she separate from them so much?? Also how is it that she is stubborn, but so quickly she will change her mind. Hot ‘n’ cold all around for all the characters and not much description for intimate moments or for other moments.

Can't finish

The male narration is awful and the story is not interesting to me. I wasted a credit on this.

Meh

This book has potential but just didn’t get there. The readers were overly sweet. While the story did flow there parts that were just choppy

The male narrator's breathing was a big issue.

Like stated in the title, the breathing was an issue. It really took me out of the story having to hear each and every breath he took. I also feel that the confusion from the author of "not just" and "just not" was a big deal. I kept having to switch the words in my mind so I could get the right emphasis. End of the story seemed to happen really quick and I felt some of the characters had wear feelings/reactions to some situations.

Awesome !!!!

This book has everything!!! Hot Sex is all kinds, thrill, suspense, danger, excitement. It touches on the moral struggles we have by society and tolerance and bigotry. I just hope that people who come across this book who may not agree with everything when it comes to life choices and sexuality, still understand that we are human beings first and we are still to treat people lovingly and kind regardless of whether or not we support their Life choices. you can disagree with someone but still love them support them and treat them with kindness.

Left me wanting more

I don’t feel like there was a lot of depth to the characters and the way the story starts is different. The sex is pretty vanilla for a MMF triad with a Dom which was a huge let down because I just couldn’t connect with the characters or how they really felt. Unfortunately they were very one dimensional

Oh My!

Oh My! I had the audio version of this book. I love to read/listen books from Leigh Lennon. Foundations is the first book in the Power of Three series. This is Arden, Daimen, and Elliot's story. Arden and Damien are billionaires. When they want a new architect in their company. Elliott is an architect working in a male dominated environment. Ellie, Arden and Daimen were an explosion waiting to happen. I love the chemistry between them. I loved Elliot's spunk, Daimen's alpha maleness, and Arden's humor. I could not put it down. The story was sexy, hot, sweet with a little suspense. I found that Chris Chambers and Stephanie Rose done a wonderful job with each of the characters. They drew me into even more than what I was with each page. If you love MMF then you should read this one!! Can't wait to the read or listen to the next story in this series.

too much cringe

I gave up at the 14th chapter. I couldn't even wait for the first threesome scene. It feels too much like a straight woman who doesn't really like men having a fantasy about control for my liking. The two spicy scenes thus far were appallingly brief and unrealistic. I hate to do it but returning my credit on this one.

cliche

Not a fan of this male narrator. Not able to tell the difference in men. Would have been better if she did the entire thing. How many times could they say babe? It was so melodramatic and mooshy it was like listening to a daytime soap opera.
