Summary

This stuck with me way longer than I thought it would. I always hope in these stories that you'll see the person who remembers wooing their partner back so in essence you get to watch them fall in love. This doesn't happen here, but is honestly more realistic than many interpretations. I loved the characters and story. The only thing that brought it down was repeated tellings of how they met and first dates. First meeting is told twice and shown once. Showing would have been enough and it's like the author couldn't decide, but it's not a deal breaker.

Absolutely fantastic. I don’t often read/listen to 1st person but this had be gripped, engrossed in and feeling part of the characters stories. And the performance was sublime. I cried when they cried, I felt the angst, the love and and everything else throughout. Amazing.
