I really enjoyed this book. Good strong characters with all the steamy scenes you need. Kai and Wen are so good together.

There are only a few authors that I will listen to that write paranormal romance, and Kim Loraine is one of them. Each time, she gives a story that I become completely engrossed in. This novella is so well written, action packed and steamy, I could not stop listening.! Mattias unexpectedly finds his mate when looking for his brother's killer. Lainey is unsuspecting, but drawn to him. But what happens when you find out the man you are attracted to is a vampire and you are his mate? And the hunters are after you and him? This story has it all. It's action packed, it's steamy, it's easy to fall for the characters and it leaves you wanting more. I loved this short and can't wait to see more from Kim Loraine!

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross make this short into a movie in your mind! The chemistry in this book between the characters is evident, but when portrayed by this narration team, the heat is palpable. Their ability to give you all the feels, from fear to love in this story is amazing. A quick, fun and hot listen, you will want to grab it!
