This is such a emotional and beautiful story. I fell in love with Merci instantly. He had my heart from page one. I didn't like what the Titans did in the beginning, Merci didn't deserve that but as the story progresses you see the heartfelt love and emotions between them all. Zach's past finally comes to life. I have followed all saga and can't wait for last one to be released

Purely dark and epically delicious. I would say by far the darkest yet! I absolutely loved the delicate, well crafted twisting narrative that grips you firmly from the very beginning and won't let you go till the very end. With a spectacular storyline and beautifully portrayed characters that are brought into themselves perfectly, with incredible depth, defined detail and compelling personalities. Our amazingly talented voice actors have done such incredible and inspirational work with these characters. Truly brilliant!

Forbidden Titan by E.V. Olsen Book 4 in North Shore Titans Hockey series

Zach and Merci are stepbrothers when Zach’s dad rescues him and his mother from an abusive marriage, but their history becomes complicated when Merci accidentally pushes Zach down the stairs leaving him with a devastating injury which adds to the injury he already received as a young child and resulted in Zach have brain damaged, leaving him unable to determine his feelings, emotions and unable to read people’s body language which jeopardises his high school and hockey playing. Seeing no other way out Merci panic’s and decides his only option is to run away and works as a exotic dancer and makes his way in life totally on his own that’s until Zach tracks him down five years later, hell bent on revenge and determined to make him pay for what he did.

Kidnapping Merci and taking him to his hometown, with the intention of killing him, his plans are thwarted, and now Merci is back in the family home, silent but watchful. Zach knows he cannot pursue his vendetta, but he finds himself drawn to Merci for some reason, and cannot stay away from him.

Zach other big issue is he is unable to feel pain in a normal way, and everyone including himself, family and friends often characterises him as being "different” but for some unknown reason Merci fascinates when he stands up to Zach and talks back to him, but Merci also silences the voices in his head when he is around. Zach also is very protective of Merci, often getting into fights when he can't control his temper.

Merci has his own problems stemming from trauma inflicted on him when he was younger by his biological, leaving him suffering from incapacitating panic attacks but if Zach is around his presence can sometimes calm Merci's attacks.

This story is a very thin line between love and hate and as it progresses things between Zach and Merci things begin to drastically change, attected by this inexplicable pull between them. The closer they get, the more both realize they are broken, but that together they make the breaks better and the feelings of fear and hate begin to grow into love, something neither one ever thought they would deserve or have.

Turning into an enemies to lovers tale the narration from Nick J. Russo and Gregory Salinas for these two young men broken by their past is absolutely phenomenal leaving you feeling what they needed in each other to face the future together.

This audio for this story is so engrossing and told in such a compelling way with cast characters from previous books, some mystery and intrigue making an appearance, and a story sure to draw you in and hold you to the satisfactory ending at the last page.

This series by E. V. Olsen is amazing and I have loved every book.

Forbidden Titan by E.V. Olsen is a MM college hockey romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Nick J. Russo and Gregory Salinas. This is the fifth book in the North Shore Titans Hockey series.

I loved the chemistry between Zack and Merci. Their relationship was messy, but I loved them together and couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Ruthless Titan to be released on December 2, 2025, so I can get Connor's story.

Nick and Gregory did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a MM romance, hockey romance, forbidden romance, or enemies to lover's romance.

I adored these two there love was so well written from the comfort they both got through throughout this book from each other and for the people around them from the previous books to them being able to work through their problems together was just so incredible. I adore them both and will be coming back for a second read. There are some deeper moments in this book so definitely check TW but loved it all the same
