Forbid Me by Ines Johnson is a forbidden love romantasy that I listened to on audio narrated by Lexi Evans and Michael Norman Johnson. This book is set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues universe and can be read as a standalone.

This is the first book of Ines that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship between Oz and Stella. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Michael and Lexi did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a forbidden romance, fated mates romance, shifter romance, or romantasy.

This wasn’t what I expected but I really liked it. Shifters are always fun and I’m always a fan of fates mates but I didn’t think it would end how it did so I’m happy to not be able to predict the ending. Fun and a few twists, a light fun listen.

I have enjoyed this series. Some characters from the previous books overlapped into this one. I do recommend listening to whole series for full effect. However, the story is easy to follow as a stand alone. I did figure out fairly early where the story was going, so I was not surprised by the ending. I have listened to other books with Lexi Evans narrating- she does a fabulous job. This is the first I have listened to with Michael Norman Johnson, I believe. I think he did an amazing job as well.

This was a fun, fast-paced fantasy read. I loved the banter between the main characters. There was some nice spice amongst the storyline. All in all, I enjoyed this book and I am really enjoying this world through all the different authors.
