Summary
Nathan Myers and the crew of the Legacy find themselves at war with the predatory races and murderous corruption prevalent throughout the galaxy. The shadowy criminal figures who stand to lose the most from Nathan's victories has put a billion-credit bounty on his head. Good enough for me to invest in the rest of the series
I’ve been surprised by how much I have actually enjoyed the series so far. Yes, the characters can be a little one-dimensional but it’s great fun, and there’s hardly a dull moment.

Top notch story and narration
Yes, it can be a bit long winded at times but if that's your thing, read David Weber, he's a past master at it and Marc Stevens is a learner by comparison.
putting that aside, this story arc is terrific and has excellent narration.
A few words here and there are used incorrectly but that seems to be a theme with Ebooks these days. I suppose it's too much to ask an author to use proper word checks instead of the rather stupid autocorrect.

Space Opera
This is a real space opera, lots of drawn out talks bout feelings and not much action, by the end I was bored with it, needs more punch for me to get invested any further.

Epic Space Opera
Battle Armour, A.I, Non Humanoid Aliens, Space Battles. This book and series has it all. Fast paced and brutal combat mixed in with some of the funniest sarcasm I've ever heard. This series is shaping up to be one of my all time favourite sci-fi series.

Not too bad but main character is a little OP
Main character is over powered which means nothing ever really goes wrong. The concept of the inner demon being hard to control is laboured a little too hard. Some pretty obvious misogyny as well with repeated comments about female characters needing to get laid to make them nicer people.
Other than that not too bad and the story is fairly engaging.
