Food Addiction
Summary
Anyone can simply take a look around their neighborhood just to see that there are large numbers of people that are overweight, or obese, and the numbers are increasing. A lot of this is due to the fact that many are making unhealthy food choices and over time, they have become addicted to the foods that they are eating. The problem has become such an issue that it is the fodder for many talk shows and infomercials. How then, can this problem be solved permanently?
Food Addiction: Conquering Your Addiction Successfully allows the listener to learn how one can get over their food addiction, one step at a time. It is not a process that should be rushed as that is a definite formula for a relapse.

Don't buy this
I wouldn't recommend this if it was in the free bin. No new information or insights. It's basically defining eating disorders and recommending that you eat raw fruits and veggies and do a parasite cleanse. Oh yeah, but before that, cut your total intake of food by half. Sorry, but if I had that kind of control, I wouldn't have purchased this stupid book.
The narrator is a man. His voice had no emotion to it, no empathy. And, he says "vegetables" funny. "Veggables."
I want the time back I wasted listening to this.

Very easy and extremely useful audiobook!
I now know I am not alone and this audiobook explains the different food addictions and where to get help. It also gives other useful books and hypnosis information.
I found out today that I have a food addiction, I went and got this audiobook and bam! Smack in the face information to confirm my addiction; it didn't stop there, it explains how to work on yourself to better yourself and where to get help! The first audiobook that I can say a real Thank you!
I ask if anyone reads my review, if you may suggest a good audiobook for self help or relaxation or how to learn about one's self. Thank you!

Perfect guide to overcoming food addiction
Would you listen to Food Addiction again? Why?
Definitely. It has a lot of useful information about both the causes and symptoms of food addiction, and very useful advice on how to overcome it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Food Addiction?
The details about detox cleanse and parasite cleanse. Particularly the parasite cleanse step by step instructions are extremely useful and very easy to apply.
Which scene was your favorite?
There aren't actually scenes, but the section that I liked was the advice about the types of exercises that we can do, cardio, treadmill, hiking, running, bicycling, exercises that anyone can do on a daily basis and are easy to apply instead of having to work out in the gym.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. I listened in one sitting and time flew by very fast due to the interesting way that it is presented.
Any additional comments?
I found the clear way in which it treats such an important subject as food addiction very useful. It made me much more aware about the causes and symptoms of food addiction as well as how to improve my eating habits in an easy way. I also wasn't aware of the National Eating Disorders Association and The Body Project which are very useful for anyone with food addiction.

Don’t waste your money
Feels like the author went to Wikipedia and summarized it. If you are looking for real insight into food addiction, don’t buy this book. Also the reader feels rushed. Perhaps it is because the book is so bad he wanted to get through it as quickly as possible.
