Summary
Bread occupies a special place in the history of mankind. For thousands of years, it was a mainstay of the Western diet and is mentioned about 400 times in the Bible. It was used to prevent famine, and it appeared that man could live on bread alone. I do not believe that in the modern Western diet this is true.
