Thank you so much to Kayla for sending me the Audible codes for her books! Super excited to make my way through them all. I decided to start off with Flirting With Death & oh I’m so glad I did!

Claudia’s always loved dancing but she never thought she’d find herself being a professional belly dancer, admired by crowds & being the star of the show. Not when a few years ago she worked in forensics with the police force! Two different playing fields for sure!

It’s after one of these gigs that her first encounter with a serial killer ‘The Houston Butcher’ happened. She wasn’t scared though, she just accepted her fate! She already knew all about him & kind of felt like a little star struck which took him by surprise…he was so shocked by her lack of fear & acceptance that he let her go!

But that’s not good enough for Claudia! She wants to know why? Was she not enough for him? She’s always been obsessed with serial killers! She loves writing about them & has been working on her own novel, Ted Bundy being one of her favs & now her new obsession seems to be Leon, The Houston Butcher!

Leon cannot get Claudia out of his mind either, she is different to anyone he’s ever met. She see’s him for him & isn’t afraid. He’s never had this before. He also needs answers! Will this be a perfect match up or a disaster 👀

I really enjoyed this!! I actually laughed a few times through it too! Claudia is seriously unhinged 😂 I loved her & could quite possibly be the same as her if I was in her situation, just an unbothered queen 🤣

Loved the ending, hoping they’ll be a second maybe? It was a great listen & only a couple of hours which meant I finished it in one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
