About this listen

A children's story from the best-selling author of The Tales of Otori series under the pseudonym of Lian Hearn.

When Antony and his pony Flash run into the famous film-star Tasman True, amazing adventures begin for them both as they are drawn into the glamorous, colorful, and dangerous world of the movies, a world where appearances are deceptive and nothing is what it seems.

Editor reviews

Young listeners will thrill to the adventures of Antony and his pony Flashback as the duo escape from their sleepy life on a farm to enter the glamorous but strange world of movie-making. Performer Francis Greenslade does an excellent job narrating in soothing tones while also adding drama at the appropriate moments, and he has a knack for the voices of young and old alike. With plenty of twists and turns and an unexpected ending, Flashback is recommended for kids who love horses and action-packed adventure stories.
