A great listen! Kept me invested from the prologue right until the end. Wow.
Also the narrator is one of my faves and she has amazing cadence. Really really enjoyed! Gutted when it ended.

Decent thriller. Our main character Annie is totally exasperated with the demands of being a new mum. Or is it just that? As time goes on and more and more red herrings are thrown into this story we realise something is amiss. Is Annie’s bewildered behaviour because she’s being poisoned? Is someone messing with her mind? And is her husband the person trying to destroy their marriage. I did like this apart from two things. The baddie when “unmasked” is pure pantomime and a bit cliched and the constant descriptions of how tough motherhood is in the early days. We know it’s tough Annie! Just maybe play down the long-winded descriptions to tighten up the plot. Great book though. Some good twists. Denise x
