You honestly didn’t deserve the other bad reviews. Its lighthearted tongue in cheek kinda romance story . Yes there’s a cringe worthy moment I didn’t want to listen too .,but well done I laughed out loud a few times.

I think overall the story was good but it was silly in places. I hated how they pronounced Isla incorrectly and as she is a big part of the story, I was constantly reminded. I also didn’t like that he called the fmc lover but that’s a personal preference I guess. (Bristol, UK iykyk)
The male narrator was good especially his enthusiasm in the spicy scenes. I’ve heard him on other audio books and would listen again.
I would listen to the next book in the series and I would listen to other books by this author I just don’t think it was the best. Worth a listen as free on audio and good intro in to the series.

this book is just plain stupid. fmc was plain crazy and not the funny kind but the irritating kind. I am sure i killed a few brain cells trying to listen to this. only listen to 30%
