Aww, my goodness, lilith Vincent knows a way to my heart. I have always left this trilogy on my tbr because I struggle with RH sometimes, but boy, am I glad I finally jumped into this. This won't be for everyone, but I ate this up in one sitting. This is the story of Chiara, Salvatore, Lorenzo , Cassius & Vinicius . I loved these characters . I read this while listening to the audio, which is perfectly narrated by Maeve York & Walker Williams 👏, the way Walker is voicing all these men & nailing the accents. i love it. And Maeve as Chiara is perfectly portraying the innocent & naive Chiara. The men are unhinged & i didn't know who to trust. I was hooked from the start & the suspense spurred me on. If you know lilith work, you know there is gonna be a delicious spice, age gap, unhinged and possessive, dangerous men! I laughed in some parts when Chiara was so easily duped that shit was funny even though it shouldn't have been. This ends on a cliffhanger and on to book 2 i go

This is the second book of Lilith's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved that we got Chiara, Salvatore, Vinicius, Cassius, and Lorenzo's points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Second Comes War to be released on audio so I can get more of their story.
Walker and Maeve did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, reverse harem romances, or romantic suspense.
