Story
Smart men never dabble with demons. I never claimed to be smart, but at least, I’m powerful enough to control them. When I bound Havoc to me nearly 300 years ago, I never realized how difficult he’d make my life, although “accidentally” lighting him on fire every now and then does bring a smile to my face. Havoc is handsome, mysterious, and somehow, my closest companion, even if we don’t always get along.

Story
Getting into the vampire-only detective unit was the easy part. What’s going to be more difficult is dealing with my new partner - an ancient vampire who keeps threatening to eat me. The unit has never had a human in it. Marcus - or, as I like to call him: Fangy McFangface - would really prefer to keep it that way. He’s grumpy, short-tempered, and broody, but I have a way with words, and I know he’s starting to like me, even if he swears he’s not.

Summary
Hugh Drake, the most whimsical member of the Drake family, wants a clutch badly...and despite his sanctioned period to reproduce nearing its end, he just might get his wish.
New information has emerged that suggests Disgraces are dragons and able to bear eggs. All that’s left to do is find one Hugh can tolerate, and who better to help him find his perfect match than his steadfast and faithful secretary, Finch?
If only Finch were a Disgrace, but alas, some things simply aren’t meant to be.
Sensible and straightforward, Finch has served as Hugh Drake’s secretary for more than a decade and secretly loved him for just as long. Hugh is the light of his life, but he’s also entirely too gullible, which is why Finch refuses to believe his claim that Disgraces are dragons. They’re not. Finch would know, since he is one. But that little fact will have to stay a secret because Finch would rather his love go unnoticed than be the one who breaks his dragon’s heart when he fails to produce a clutch.
Finch is a hilarious omegaverse mpreg-ish romance set following the events of the Forbidden Desires series. It contains an adorably clueless dragon, a faithful secretary whose heart is invested in more than just his job, the best Funfetti cake ever, “slippery” situations, and a single amethyst cufflink. For maximum enjoyment, Finch is best listened to following the events of Clutch, Bond, Mate, Swallow, and Magpie.

Excellent Series!!
I Love this audiobook series 🥰 The characters, storyline and humour is excellent - especially the weed and ’funfetti’ cake scenarios- had me in stitches 😂 All the brothers and their mates are in each story which is what make this, the individual characters, and the series great. Michael Ferraiuolo excellently narrates this audiobook as usual, and has the best British accent I’ve heard. His voice is so soothing to hear 😊 Definitely worth the 5🌟’s

I'm more than half in love with Hugh after this!
Finch is Hugh Drake's secretary and he's keeping secrets from his boss, who is willing to go above and beyond in his quest to find a mate and finally get the clutch he's been longing for. Hugh is kind of oblivious at first, and it's really fun seeing him slowly realize that he doesn't just want any mate, but Finch, but how can that be when Finch is not a dragonet? By the end of this book, I was more than half in love with Hugh. He was so earnest and sweet and determined. And Finch was just perfect for him. They were hot and so much fun together and I loved seeing them interact with the rest of the Drake clan. This was an awesome book to read, but listening to Michael Ferraiuolo performing it brings it to a whole new level of awesomeness. He's done such a fantastic job with the whole series and Hugh and Finch are not the exception. This book was fun, hot, emotional, and enthralling from the first word until the last. Super recommendable!

Amazing
Each and every book in this series is amazing, and I really believe the audio versions make them an even better experience. Michael Ferraiuolo is the perfect choice for this series. He is able to handle the adventure, humour, and sentimentality perfectly. The cast of voices he has created fits the characters perfectly - so much so that when I read one of the series now, I can only do so imagining his voice in my head. Finch and Hugh are a delight, and I loved watching them overcome the obstacles in their path to love each other. Hugh was the sheer epitome of a himbo, and he was so hilarious. I was driving when I listened to the funfetti scene, and was laughing so hard I almost had to pull over. A delight of a book - I can't wait for the next.

A quirky and heart-warming romance
I've loved every story in the Forbidden Desires universe, and listening to them in audio form has only made me a bigger fan. Michael Ferraiuolo is one of my favorite narrators, and he's always done a wonderful job bringing the eccentric Drake family to life. When Michael narrates, every character has their own distinct voice, with different accents and pitches and mannerisms so that it's easy to know exactly what's going on in the story. His performance of Finch was just as incredible as I knew it would be, and I'm thrilled to have this audio in my collection so I can revisit it as often as I want. In terms of Finch and Hugo's storyline, it was even more delightful than I'd anticipated. Hugo is such a quirky, oblivious dragon, and I was absolutely smitten with his charming cluelessness about modern society. Finch initially came across as a buttoned-up, prim-and-proper secretary, but seeing him interact with his sweet pets and tend to Hugo so patiently showed me what a special guy he really is. It felt very fitting that it took Hugo thirteen long years to work out the feelings his dragon had for Finch, and the fact that he didn't even realize he was courting Finch just made me giggle at his silliness. When the two of them finally came together at last, their explosive chemistry intoxicated me. I knew to expect some sort of pregnancy in this story, but I'll admit that I wasn't expecting things to unfold the way they did. Seeing Finch work through his past pains and embrace his new family with Hugo made my heart fill with happiness. Finch and Hugo's happily-ever-after might not look like the rest of the Drake brothers', but it's no less fulfilling and lovely. **I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Wonderful!!
Another point of view in the life of Dragons and Disgraces in this world created by Ms Scott and Ms Kelly. I love how in each book another couple found his forever and his family confronting intolerance and discrimination to be happy. The story taught us that sometimes one needs to unlearned everything that "know" about oneself and allowed love and dreams to be real. This book is full of heartwarming, tear jerking moments, a very stubborn Finch and a lovely clueless Hugh. Of course, Mr Ferraiuolo's performance gave the book an extra making this audiobook one of the best in the series. Simply, wonderful!

Wonderful
This is a wonderful, sometimes emotional. frequently hilarious story in the Forbidden Desires universe. Hugh is an absolute riot, absolutely clueless, like most of the Drake clan, and Finch is the iconic paragon of secretary perfection. He manages Hugh Drake and the household to perfection. However, he believes what he has always been taught about human children born from dragons (formerly known as disgraces), so he hides what he is, and believes he was abandoned by his dragon father before birth. There are so many hilarious moments, for instance surrounding the cake and kidnapping, and the use of marijuana, but also plenty of emotional, angsty, self-doubting moments. Hugh and Finch revolve around each other, both seemingly oblivious to the real attraction and feeling between them until it is almost too late. The ending with all the Drakes congregating was fun. I really wonder what the deal is with Bertram, and I am worried about Peregrine. He has always been one pf my favorite characters. Michael Ferriauolo is the perfect narrator for these stories. He always hits the humor perfectly and dryly. His skill with tongue-in-cheek humor is unmatched. He voices the angsty and emotional moments really well, too. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Perfect match of story and performer
I have loved every member of this family and Hugh is no exception. He and Finch are a perfect match but they almost mess everything up trying to be so secretive and concoct such convoluted plots to get everything right. I laughed, I wanted to knock their heads together and order them to talk honestly and I loved every single minute of this book and this series. I think this entry is my favorite, but to confirm that I need to start back in re-reading them all just to make sure, lol. Michael Ferraiuolo perfectly captures all the humor, steam and warmth of the relationship between these two characters. The delicate balance of humor and romance is his speciality and he is in top form here.

Brilliant - All of It
I loved this story. It had me laughing, grinning like a loon, and captivated throughout the entire book. These authors are incredibly talented, and it comes across in their stories. They create the best characters, and you just want to scoop them up and take them home. Adorable, quirky, and absolutely likable, and the characters in this book is no different. I never knew Dragons could be so hot, until I found this series and the one it spun off from. The Forbidden Desires series was my first real dive into mpreg. A friend recommended it to me, saying it was the perfect place to start when dipping my toes into this world. It was great advice, and I’m glad I took it! Oh my goodness, Michael Ferraiuolo is phenomenally talented. I’ve loved his narrating style for a while now. His comedic timing is EVERYTHING. 10/10 recommend both this book and the narrator. Heck, you need to read/listen to the entire series and spin off. You won’t regret it.

The world created by these authors is nothing short of magical perfection. I had an idea where I thought the story would go after watching Huge’s seemingly never-ending angsty torture. I'm happy to report I was wrong, and I've never been more thrilled than I was. This story does justice to the want Huge experiences, and we see Finch, who has experienced his own longing over the years. They are everything, and their journey is pure perfection. I can't say enough good things about this book and series. Michael Ferraiuolo took magic and made it magical!! His narration is absolute perfection. *part of this review came from my book review

Micheal really does a great job of bringing the characters to life in this series! This book was no exception. The birthday scene is probably my fave. An under the influence Hugh is a hilarious Hugh. Finch and Hugh are perfect for each other..too bad neither one sees it until it because even obvious to them. Their relationship developed quickly after Finch needs help and only Hugh can provide it. There’s some twists and turns I did not see coming and I loved all the voices Michael assigned to the new characters. This was a delightful audio and made me smile a lot! Loved it!

A new favorite
Michael Ferraiuolo’s performance of this book has to be a top 5 or 10(he has so many greats). The way he brings lovable Hugh to life had me laughing out load many times. The characters and plot written by Piper and Virginia grabbed and held me from start to finish. I love also how they use these books to teach important life lessons.

Scott, Kelly and Ferraiuolo do it again!
I love and adore this series. Scott and Kelly have created a world full of quirky people, brimming with interest and character. Dragons should not be that believable! I was close to tears from the hopeless longing between Hugh and Finch, and I loved both of them for their kindness and their adorably odd traits. Ferraiuolo's narration lifts it all, and how he manages to make a cast of characters this size recognizable by voice alone is beyond me. I really cannot wait for the next book!

Outstanding in every way
I loved the story and Michael's amazing narration takes it to new heights. Finch is a sweet heart and absolutely deserved his HEA with his Dragon.

I hope this isn’t the last one
This series has been great, I hope it’s not over yet, there’s still a few unanswered questions. Anyway, There are new nicknames and a sweet couple who were just so clueless and endearing. As usual there are lots of laughs and visits with previous characters.

Absolutely Phenomenal Narration and Story!
I knew this was a phenomenal story having read the ebook, but Michael Ferraiuolo’s narration really brings it to life. I was already a fan of his and knew he was an incredible performer, but his work on this particular book was beyond captivating. It truly just blew me away. There were so many varied and unique voices for the characters in this story. I was honestly amazed he could keep them all straight. I was mesmerized from start to finish. If I could give this fifty stars, I would.

Absolutely Love this Series
I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. I absolutely love this series. Piper did a great job with this series as well as the other books she has written. This book is about Hugh and Finch. Finch keeps Hugh organized while secretly loving Hugh. Hugh is so gloriously clueless that he's in love with his secretary and as his gestures get ever more extravagant, even Finch starts to think he might get what he's always wanted.
