About this listen
Hugh Drake, the most whimsical member of the Drake family, wants a clutch badly...and despite his sanctioned period to reproduce nearing its end, he just might get his wish.
New information has emerged that suggests Disgraces are dragons and able to bear eggs. All that’s left to do is find one Hugh can tolerate, and who better to help him find his perfect match than his steadfast and faithful secretary, Finch?
If only Finch were a Disgrace, but alas, some things simply aren’t meant to be.
Sensible and straightforward, Finch has served as Hugh Drake’s secretary for more than a decade and secretly loved him for just as long. Hugh is the light of his life, but he’s also entirely too gullible, which is why Finch refuses to believe his claim that Disgraces are dragons. They’re not. Finch would know, since he is one. But that little fact will have to stay a secret because Finch would rather his love go unnoticed than be the one who breaks his dragon’s heart when he fails to produce a clutch.
Finch is a hilarious omegaverse mpreg-ish romance set following the events of the Forbidden Desires series. It contains an adorably clueless dragon, a faithful secretary whose heart is invested in more than just his job, the best Funfetti cake ever, “slippery” situations, and a single amethyst cufflink. For maximum enjoyment, Finch is best listened to following the events of Clutch, Bond, Mate, Swallow, and Magpie.

Hugh and Finch were so charming and delightful, I loved watching their relationship develop in this story.
I can't wait to read what Piper and Virginia write next.

Hugh was so sweet yet totally oblivious to the way of things. There were so many laugh out loud moments all pretty much involving Hugh wooing Flinch. The scene in the car where a horrified Flinch, throwing something out of the window, made me crackle like crazy.
Hugh and Flinch were adorable together. I enjoyed the sweet, crazy, silly and even the heated moments they shared.
The narrator was absolutely amazing and made the story come alive. I thoroughly enjoyed his performance.
Sweet and funny

In terms of Finch and Hugo's storyline, it was even more delightful than I'd anticipated. Hugo is such a quirky, oblivious dragon, and I was absolutely smitten with his charming cluelessness about modern society. Finch initially came across as a buttoned-up, prim-and-proper secretary, but seeing him interact with his sweet pets and tend to Hugo so patiently showed me what a special guy he really is. It felt very fitting that it took Hugo thirteen long years to work out the feelings his dragon had for Finch, and the fact that he didn't even realize he was courting Finch just made me giggle at his silliness. When the two of them finally came together at last, their explosive chemistry intoxicated me. I knew to expect some sort of pregnancy in this story, but I'll admit that I wasn't expecting things to unfold the way they did. Seeing Finch work through his past pains and embrace his new family with Hugo made my heart fill with happiness. Finch and Hugo's happily-ever-after might not look like the rest of the Drake brothers', but it's no less fulfilling and lovely.

By the end of this book, I was more than half in love with Hugh. He was so earnest and sweet and determined. And Finch was just perfect for him. They were hot and so much fun together and I loved seeing them interact with the rest of the Drake clan.
This was an awesome book to read, but listening to Michael Ferraiuolo performing it brings it to a whole new level of awesomeness. He's done such a fantastic job with the whole series and Hugh and Finch are not the exception.
This book was fun, hot, emotional, and enthralling from the first word until the last. Super recommendable!
I'm more than half in love with Hugh after this!
