I’ve always preferred Michael Ridpath’s financial thrillers over his Icelandic series. This was no exception. Good story and narrator.

The dialogue is sometimes quite pathetic, and the lack of wiser handling of the silly wife and stoopid brother and annoying policeman, tends to get on one's nerves.
