Cara North can write a novella like no other. Quick and saucy, the Filthy American has all of our fantasies coming to life. Saorise is in Ireland for a whisky convention when she finds Liam, an American needs a place to stay. She has a cottage and it is suggested he stay with her. They can live together with no complications, right? When Saorise finds out Liam is an audiobook narrator, their relationship takes a turn. But is it the luck of the Irish? Will they find true love? This is cute listen, romantic, hot and the narrator is amazing. Shana Ryan has a fantastic voice. Love her Irish accent and she easily gives Liam a sound to fall for. If you are looking for a quick listen, this is it!

This was a short, SHORT novella. (45 minutes listening time.) It had a little story to go along with the 5 minutes of foreplay, the 10 minutes of sex, and the skip-ahead-weeks insta-love. I guess if you are going to write something so short, you gotta make it work. For me, it was barely enough to get interested in the characters. I would have preferred double the length just to get more than the surface of all the elements. I'd consider reading more (full-length stories) by this author. The narrator was good, too.

Light-speed love
