About this listen

Jay A. Stout breaks new ground in World War II history with this gripping account of one of the war’s most highly decorated American fighter groups. Stout combines the storytelling gifts and careful research for a seasoned historian with the combat experience of a former fighter pilot to tell the remarkable story of the 352nd Fighter Group. This isn’t just the story of a single fighter group; it’s the story of how the United States won the air war over Europe.

A grear story from WW2 aviation. Keeps you interested from start too finish. Good narrative leads to excellent story telling, unfortunately, storys that are true. Well worth the listen.

Whilst an anticipated catalogue of the events courage and sacrifice made by a WW2 generation this book follows the lives of US flyers and aces in the struggle to secure freedom in the air for all. It enables us to also reflect upon the lives of all of the Allied Airmen their Support Groups and their loved ones in the relative safety of our now comfortable existence. Worth listening.

Lest We Forget.
