About this listen

Martin and his friends discovered that their world is computer generated and that by altering the code, they could alter reality. They traveled back in time to Medieval England to live as wizards. Almost everything they've done since then has, in one way or another, blown up in their faces.

So of course they decide to make dragons. It does not go well.

As the wizards struggle to control their creations and protect innocent citizens, they try new things (most of which they don't enjoy), meet new people (most of who are angry at them), and fight epic battles (most of which they lose).

But their biggest challenge may be a young girl who knows that the wizards created the dragons and is determined to make them pay. On her side she has powerful allies, a magical artifact, and a faithful if not particularly helpful dog.

Fight and Flight is a rollicking tale of bravery, wonder, love, revenge, greed, discovery, deception, and animal husbandry.

going by other reviews I wasn't going to get this audiobooks but I'm glad I did, it's not the best book in the series but it was still great

I figured in the 1st 10min it was gonna be a bit dull but I stuck with it till the end because I loved the previous books, we were told from the start there would be no peril so no thrills there and there was no adventure just Various members of the team doing the same thing in different places against boring enemies, I hope there are more books but not if they are like this one

disappointed after the previous adventures

I still enjoyed this installment of the magic 2.0 series but this is definitely the weaker of the storylines. There was little in the way of actual peril for the characters and to be fair, the author acknowledges that throughout the story.

Whilst the plot was wafer thin , the narrator is an absolute joy, really bringing the characters to life... apart from the Welsh accent 😂. As a Welshman I can confirm it definitely needs work!

tldr, plot thin but fun anyway, narrator excellent, worth picking up in a 2 for 1 deal. No regrets.

great performance, weak storyline
