I'm a fan of hondo jinx, I've not read a series of his I haven't enjoyed. I'm not that into boxing so I was a little leery but it was great, you can tell alot of the author want into it. give it a read/listen.

This is Hondo Jinx and the the narrators at their best, as one they bring the story to life, characters you love or hate, and the adorable maid with a secret. And as a plus point you learn about boxing along the way.
