Summary

Another enjoyable Anna Smith Glasgow crime story .
narrator mis pronounced a few words but otherwise was ok. Ot didn't spoil the story. it's obviously got a follow up .

Anna does it again
Loved all the books about Rosie Gilmour so disappointed when they came to an end.However I needn't have worried as the Casey Family have been brilliant follow on.Sure its raw and gritty but you can't write about gangsters without.However I didnt want to stop listening once I had started and thats the sign of a gripping book.Roll on the next instalment please Anna

Fantastic.
For fans of crime sagas, in the vein of Martina Cole, this one is for you. You need to start from book 1, or you'll be left wondering at some parts of the story. I love Anna Smith, her books have everything a good crime, gangster story should have. The narrator of her books really adds depth to the story. Can't wait for the next book.

All too unconvincing
This work takes fiction and suspense of credibility to a low level. I found the plot turgid and beyond belief. The drug lord left so many loose ends and errors strewn around him that it was difficult to imagine his survival at the top of the cartel.
I enjoyed the first book but this one was a mistake.

predictably story line, dull narrator
narrator i found too "dreary". struggled to finish it.
feels like the author got bored and just finished the book. i suspect a sequel in the offing, but not one which I shall be buying
