but sometimes I found the story taking to long, I was bored. I think this book would be better if it was shorter.
It is still a entertaining book with twists and turns you don't expect.
The narrators did an excellent job, I really enjoyed them.
Not T L Swan's best book, but I don't regret hearing it.

I really enjoyed this book but feel like it ended quite abruptly with quite a few loose ends. Hopefully there will be another related book to tie it all together.

Absolutely outstanding. The book is brilliant but the narrators Sofia and Dane bought Francesca and Juliano to life… one of the best audio books I’ve listened to. So 🔥🔥🔥

I must admit, I struggled listening yo the first half possibly the first 2/3rds of this book.
I absolutely LOVED The Italian and while I was aware that there was something 'taboo' based on their initial meeting, Guliano and Francesca had me struggling with their great love!
Methinks that the book focused too much on their story initially and the drama at the end could have been used to take me away for a while from the uncomfortableness I felt as I was listening to how they dealt with their love.
After the resolution of their origins, the book took off for me and had me in its grip.

I enjoyed reading the book but the narrators have to be commended for their performances - particularly Dale with all of the different Italian characters he has to portray - Bravo!
