About this listen

Moving back home at 27 was not in my original plan. But after the car accident that completely upended my family’s life, I just had to be there for them.

I can’t complain, though. They let me blast Britney Spears’s greatest hits while making dinner, and they still respect my freedom as an adult. I can even meet up with my secret guy friend without any questions. No one can know about him, especially not my best friend. If she ever found out, she’d say “Bye Bye Bye” to our friendship.

He’s not my boyfriend or anything (as much as I daydream about him). And it’s not like he’s into me, anyway. Besides, I have zero time for romance in between running three dance teams, working an extra job to help support my family, and dealing with my snooty coworker.

Did I mention I’m also taking over snooty-coworker’s dance teams?

But don’t worry about me. I can handle everything!

Right?

Feel the Rhythm is a best friend's brother, sweet romantic comedy that keeps the romance closed-door. It's book two in The Canyon Cove Love Stories but can be listened to as a standalone.

What a sweet story! Best friend's brother. Secret relationship.
Ivy is dealing with A LOT. She is overwhelmed and over worked. She grows a lot through the book and realizes she can't (and doesn't have to) do it all alone.
Scott is reserved (I think that's the right word 😅) but is totally crazy about Ivy. And definitely redeems himself from Speak Your Truth.

💕RCRS: 2 (brief kissing)

🗨 Some Quotes:
Well, that’s just it,” he said. He slowly reached his hand over and placed it on top of mine. It felt right, like it belonged there. “Maybe to you we’ve just been hanging out, but for me . . .” He looked me straight in the eyes. “I’m falling for you, Ivy.”

I put on a bewildered expression and shrugged my shoulders. I was locked like a treasure chest. Just call me pirate’s booty. Or not. That’s a little weird.

"When will you learn that people want to help? That there is joy in giving? I want to give. I want to help. You need to let people in.”

such a sweet romance
