Remy must be a fancy licker

This is a slapstick romp, comedy parody cop thriller. Bazille the cop kidnaps Remy, the wife of the criminal lawyer responsible for dastardly deeds. They get down and dirty in the swamp. I was expecting a real thriller, so this story was unexpected, but not unenjoyable. The narrator's slow pace did little to enhance this tale. Had to increase speed to 1.25. He would've been better narrating real thrillers. SURPRIZING NOTE: There are 2 versions of this book on Audible. This is the short one.

Good book! terrible audio quality

I've read this book before and years ago listened to it on tape... this seems to be just taken from a bad tape.. it's horrible in it's quality. This is a good book, good narrator and horrible transfer of format. Big waste of money!

Not the best

Honestly I wasn't impressed with the story. I'm a closet Sandra Brown fan and expected to enjoy this story. Somehow it just seemed lacking. Perhaps because it's an abridged version where I hardly ever stray from unabridged.
Also, the audio quality of this recording was TERRIBLE even with a #4 file. I found that distracting and even though it shouldn't, it took away from my enjoyment.

Not My Favorite

Sandra Brown is a remarkable writer but this is by far my least favorite of her books.
