Not for the faint of heart, with deeply discomforting descriptions of abuse and drug use. Nonetheless, a powerful and dramatic story, great characterisation, and complex plotting. Narrator is good. Would recommend to listeners who like a thoughtful thriller that is a bit unusual but impeccably researched.

The story line was good
What I disliked was the pro covid, mask wearing, pro jab theme. Last thing I want to read.
Felt like more propaganda.
Disappointed as the actual story line was good

Good story but covid biased theme throughout

When it got down to the nitty gritty the story was really good. But sometimes it rambled and I felt like I wanted to stop listening to the narrators monotone. I'm glad I stuck with it though, because the story was really good

….such a good ‘read’ which, despite its length, keeps you interested throughout. Really sympathetic lead characters and truly vile, menacing villains.
