Summary
Mariana Tally was your typical high school nerd - short curly hair and poindexter glasses. The exception - she had a huge crush on the bad boy football star along with everyone else, but she knew she had a slim-to-none chance with Chaz...or so she thought until that one special night. First loves and second chances
I love first love stories, that feeling of nostalgia, memories of loving the unattainable boy. Elaine Marie captures this feeling in Falling for the Past, with a twist! Mariana has eyes for the popular, older football player,Chaz and it results in her first kiss and her first time with the boy of her dreams. Chaz gets a scholarship to college for football, taking his chance to get away from his family life. Now years later, these two once again meet up, but will he remember her? Is there still that spark? And will he fit into her life once he finds out her secret? It's a story that captures your inner high school girl, gives you that thrilling feel of firsts with that boy you didn't think would ever see you. It's a story of second chances, lives colliding, overcoming your past and finding that happiness everyone craves. I love Elaine Marie. She has a way of connecting you to the characters, and letting you enjoy their lives.
Narrated by the talents of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, we can feel the bond between Riana and Chaz. Their own chemisty flows down into these two, and we can hear and feel their connection. Thom's voice is always smooth as silk, and he plays Chaz as that cocky athlete, then matured adult. Ongel adds so much with Riana, as she is that starstruck girl who is now the responsible woman. I love how these two interact and always enjoy their performances.

Loved the dual narration of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel perfect.
Great characters and twists in this book.
Secrets, fate brings the past into your life. A great love story.

Really enjoyed the audio for this one, was easy to follow and listen too.
The book was good, I enjoyed the surprises and the way the story evolved. I liked we got to see people from the first book and what they now up too.
