Ok, so listened to this second book in the series, but I can’t be bothered with the third. It’s annoying when the author deliberately stretches out the plot to cover 3 books, filling the chapters with internal monologues and lots of angst. A pity, because the ideas and the plot would have worked if the story line had been limited to say 2 books. I hope any woman in the female lead’s situation has a best friend with better instincts and advice than the one featured here. The sister was mean, but her advice was better.
