Strict conservative Catholic extended family and a gay man's identity & love for another man make for an excellent plot device - too common in real life for many, no doubt.
I enjoyed this story very much and the steamy scenes really were just a spice in it, not porn with a plot.

Overall, I enjoyed the book though I felt the MC was too forgiving of the other MC. That part annoyed me but it didn't take too much away from the book, generally speaking. The narrators were good as well.
