Despite the previous review I actually liked the story, hence the 5*. All the characters were great apart from the ex-groom. The narrator managed all the characters brilliantly. There’s the usual “tucking of the hair behind the girls ear” line thrown in to the odd chapter! You may need tissues towards the end but eventually there’s a happy ending. All in all the book was great escapism.

Narration voices very annoying. Very lack lustre storyline, just very boring, kept listening in hope it would get better, but it never it. Gave up in the end
