I love this series and I think this one is now my fave so far ! I really loved the storyline and the characters and how everything came together.

The audiobook was amazing to listen to.. both Blake Lockheart and Christian Fox did a fabulous job with these characters!

I am about 40% in and just like the other books in this series this is excellent! Both voices are SO GOOD, and narration (pace, intonation etc) is just perfection.

Update: just finished and can confirm that the book AND AUDIO are now on my all time favs list along with others in this series♥️ absolute joy to listen to and read!

l'll never look at popcorn butter the same way again! Classic me—l listened to this just in time for the next book to have already released. But I really loved Kason & Hayes's dynamic. 1 wasn't sure how they were going to go from basically strangers, to reluctant roommates who got on each other’s nerves, to lovers. But it totally made sense! And they were both so light-hearted and sweet with each other.

My favorite scene had to be when Hayes not-so-accidentally crashed Kason's date for *reasons*, just to internally be like "omg wait, am I JEALOUS?!?! How embarrassing for me". then they kissed and he ran away and I was ROFL.

I’m so glad I chose to listen to this on audio as well, as I have read the other LU books via ebook, but the narration was so good & entertaining. It especially brought their banter to life!

The development of this story is one of the best of the Leighton U Series (I’ve read 3/5) so far. I had a soft spot for Hayes for his quiet support of Quinton from Iced Out. Not to mention Kason who I felt horrible for in Caught Stealing. And when Hayes’ and Kason’s storyline started, boy was I invested 😊. I was cheesing ear to ear. Ricci developed the characters very well and I like how she managed to weave the characters so flawlessly throughout the series. I enjoyed their journey: the ups to downs and then the up again. Chef’s kiss 😘
