This book was a breath of fresh air. I didn't realize I was guilty of trying to please everybody and how destructive that impulse can be. The author clearly defines situations when its ok to say no to people. It's not about being rude, just defining your boundaries. The tips are practical and the message is easy to understand. Makes a great "read" while going for a walk. I found it especially helpful to listen to it if somebody just upset me. Great little book.

This was a great audiobook on people pleasing. It helps you learn to say no and be more assertive in your everyday lift. It teaches you how to curb those unhealthy habits of saying yes to everything. I would highly recommend!

I like the chapter that says that actually, the only person that we need to care for and listen to is ourselves; we don't have to mind to please other people.
