Summary

OUR MOST NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS HAVE HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT.
UNTIL NOW...

'Emily' is a devoted single mother.

'Jack' starts a new job in a new town.

They both share the same secret:
neither of them are who they say they are.

They are among only nine criminals in the UK who have been granted lifelong anonymity, for their own safety, because of their terrible crimes.

But what if someone exposed their true identities to the families of their victims, who are desperate for revenge?

Probation officer Olivia Campbell is caught in the crossfire of this crisis - and as the search for the mole behind it all intensifies, so too does the hunt for the vigilante killers let loose by the leaks...

RIGHT OR WRONG?
CRIMINAL OR VICTIM?
REDEMPTION OR REVENGE?

Revenge

I wasn't expecting this book to be that good but it was excellent. I think it was quite a unique storyline. moreover, when you look at the author's previous work he's not done that much which makes it even more impressive.

Thought provoking

This has both a dark and thought provoking plot.
It’s a tricky subject to deal with and difficult to decide who to sympathise with at times.
I did really enjoy it though.
Really good narration.

Powerful and a reflection on today’s society

Not my normal go to genre, but wow what a thought provoker.. where do we all sit on the moral code? A great performance by the narrator and a powerful and compelling story told from all sides.

The Emotion in the Voice ❤️

I thoroughly got lost in this book, granting me a much needed salvation from day to day life. It is quite graphic and covers topics that may distress some listeners. However, these details add a phenomenal amount of clarity in the scene. They also ensure that listeners develop a connection with each and every character.
A wonderfully written and beautifully narrated.
I definitely recommend.

Challenging story

As many reviewers have said, the story is thought provoking. You can’t help but wonder what you would do, if given the opportunity, to revenge the brutal murder of a child. Need some time to think through that conundrum.
