Hands down, this series, has had some of the best narration, especially Gray. His mood swings from psycho to golden Retriever gave me whiplash with a huge grin on my face. Damo and Theo...... just a swoonfest all round. Nice and spicy, very funny in places but also heartbreaking in others. Avery was a wonderful fmc who found herself through adversity but more so through love. A great HEA, so sad it's come to an end.

Talk about love conquering all!!!

I listened to Exile on Audible, and wow this entire series has some of the best narration I’ve ever heard. Truly top-tier! Each narrator completely breathes life into the characters, giving every twisted, emotional, chaotic moment that extra punch. Honestly, I could relisten to the whole Dance With My Demons series anytime.

Exile wraps up the wild, haunting ride at the Lilydale Foundation Centre an asylum steeped in secrets, obsession, and dark desire. This finale ties up all the loose ends, offering a sense of closure that feels oddly comforting considering the setting (who knew an asylum could feel nostalgic?).

Now, I’ll admit plot-wise, this one was a little lighter on action. It’s more about tying threads together than shocking twists, but that’s okay. It’s the emotional payoff that makes it shine. The journey’s end felt right.

Steph Macca delivers a unique and deliciously dark why choose asylum romance full of grit, emotion, and characters you can’t help but root for even when you probably shouldn’t.

⚠️ Note: This is book 4 in the series and must be read in order. It’s a dark romance with adult themes and sensitive topics—definitely for mature readers (18+) only. Check trigger warnings before diving in.

Farewell, Lilydale Foundation Center… and thanks for the madness. 💀🖤
