Exile wraps up the wild, haunting ride at the Lilydale Foundation Centre an asylum steeped in secrets, obsession, and dark desire. This finale ties up all the loose ends, offering a sense of closure that feels oddly comforting considering the setting (who knew an asylum could feel nostalgic?).
Now, I’ll admit plot-wise, this one was a little lighter on action. It’s more about tying threads together than shocking twists, but that’s okay. It’s the emotional payoff that makes it shine. The journey’s end felt right.
Steph Macca delivers a unique and deliciously dark why choose asylum romance full of grit, emotion, and characters you can’t help but root for even when you probably shouldn’t.
⚠️ Note: This is book 4 in the series and must be read in order. It’s a dark romance with adult themes and sensitive topics—definitely for mature readers (18+) only. Check trigger warnings before diving in.
Farewell, Lilydale Foundation Center… and thanks for the madness. 💀🖤
