Summary
This business of changing habituated thinking patterns is really the business of eliminating the same old tired excuses. People are forever using excuses and defending those excuse patterns as if they were actually true. But there are no excuses worth defending ever, even if they've always been part of your life.
This audiobook represents Wayne's effort to help anyone whose self-defeating thoughts are persistently present to learn how to discard those old thinking habits - and discover the infinite possibilities of life!

Life changing!
If you are looking for inspiration on where to go with your life and to realise that you need to live in the now, hear the words of Dr Dyer. A great orator, natural and down to earth, he helps you get to grips with how we all use excuses as reasons for us not fulfilling our potential, and living a life full of empathy and love. He has a great mellow voice too, I'd recommend it!

Another one.
Another beautiful book by Wayne Dyer. I might not be the right one to review his work, because I simply love this man. This book and many others from Dyer has given me so much inspiration. My life is more beautiful because of his work.
I have overcome heavy things with Dyer and this book just gives more mind food ;)
Thanks Wayne.

Love It
I have been following Wayne Dyer for many many years & I truly have admired him for the path he has been on & to inform us of some of the errors or changes that he has made along his path. Wayne Dyer is authentic, warming & human, this book is another one of those you have to listen or read again. I've listened to the book twice & will keep revisiting it for many years to come.
Check out Wayne Dyer movie The Shift it's a 'must have' movie to watch again & again.

Pause for thought....
I have been a great fan of Wayne Dyer for some considerable years and it all began when I first read his books 'You'll See it when you Believe it' and 'Pulling your own strings'. As much as I enjoyed listening to 'Excuses Begone' this book, narrated by the great man himself, is going over work that he has written before. The book on the whole is very inspiring and I found myself suddenly thinking about things that I had forgotten from writings before and there are a few new ideas and contemplations. You will need to ponder whether you would want this lifestyle and I believe that the difficulty rating is high (although, no doubt, Wayne would consider this an excuse), but I would recommend reading it to decide for yourself whether or not Wayne is the man to teach you to reach a higher perspecive of your self being, and you will be inspired if this is the first book of Wayne's that you have read. It is do-able.

A tough love approach to change
If you could sum up Excuses Begone! in three words, what would they be?
Kind, honest, empowering
What about the narrator’s performance did you like?
Wayne Dyer was a wonderful, generous, gently and wise man. I miss him already and am so thankful he left behind so much good work.
Any additional comments?
This is a no nonsense book on how to face your habitual thinking and it encourages you to be truthful with yourself. I shall listen to this book many times as once is definitely not enough.

Good Sense
Really liked listening to this book on the walk to work and back - very inspiring and sets out clearly all the ways we hold ourselves back. Not sure if I can put it all into practice now but I will certainly be listening to this more than once - thought it was great. Will be looking out for more books by this author as I felt much more positive hearing how to overcome self-imposed limitations.
