The audio book offers a helpful and clear guide to understanding and dealing with narcissistic behavior. The audiobook runs just over five hours, which feels like a manageable length for diving into such a heavy topic. The content is packed with solid advice and real-world strategies, making it accessible whether you're new to the subject or already familiar with narcissistic relationships.

The narrator, Caro Egan, has a calm and soothing voice, which balances out the intensity of the topic, making it easier to absorb the material. On the downside, some sections feel a bit repetitive, and a few of the strategies could be more detailed. But overall, it’s an informative listen for anyone seeking ways to heal and regain control.

If you’re looking to buy just one book on narcissism, this is THE ONE.

This book covers the subject exceptionally well. The author conducted thorough research while maintaining an engaging narrative style. She provided numerous compelling examples, practical strategies, and sound advice.

As an author myself, this topic is very personal to me. I co-authored "Behind Closed Doors: The Dangers of Dating a Narcissist," another great one if you have time to read two.
