This is a very nice story with great Christian message. Set in late 19th century Texas.

Liberty is her older brother's deputy and hauls in an astounded newcomer into their little jail...and into her life.
Lori Wick has done it again. With multiple POVs and sideplots she doesn't just build one story but an entire community. I absolutely loved the siblings' relationships, from both families. The plot is fun and engaging and the morals and lessons so real and inspiring.
The narration was outstanding!

Premise sounded good, but I seem to have missed where it said it was a religious book full of dogma and nonsense, which starts not very far into the story. SKIP THIS ONE
