About this listen

From #1 bestselling author Brandon Sanderson and Janci Patterson comes the third of three Skyward series novellas, set after Cytonic.

With the government of Detritus in disarray because of Superiority treachery, and with Spensa still away on her mission in the Nowhere, Jorgen must work together with the alien Alanik to pick up the pieces. They intercept a strange transmission from the planet Evershore and its Kitsen inhabitants, who say they have some of Jorgen's people and want to return them-but can the Kitsen be trusted? And can Jorgen learn to master his increasingly erratic cytonic powers before they spiral out of control and destroy all hope of forming an alliance against the Superiority?

Nice flowing story that builds on one of the main characters, it is different to run through it all in a single person view but was a joy too listen to this novella, I look forward to more stories from this series.
My only little issue is that the narrative was told by a female narrator when the storyline was totally from a male characters point of view. It is wonderful narration and i really enjoy the others, but it just felt slightly wrong to have the same narrator from different characters perspective

Great Follow up Story to the main tales

Compliments the Skyward books perfectly. It adds insights into side characters often missing in other series.

An enjoyable, easy listen.
