Summary

From number one best-selling author Brandon Sanderson and Janci Patterson comes the first of three Skyward series novellas, set after Cytonic.

With the government of Detritus in disarray because of Superiority treachery, and with Spensa still away on her mission in the Nowhere, Jorgen must work together with the alien Alanik to pick up the pieces.

They intercept a strange transmission from the planet Evershore and its Kitsen inhabitants, who say they have some of Jorgen's people and want to return them - but can the Kitsen be trusted? And can Jorgen learn to master his increasingly erratic cytonic powers before they spiral out of control and destroy all hope of forming an alliance against the Superiority?

Great writing, great performance

i loved the writing and the performance. I'm so glad I took the time and credits to read the three novellas before Skyward #3!

Incredible!!!

The best of the novellas by far. It's such an inspiring story about persevering and continuing to do your best even when it seems you're up against the odds, and your own self-doubt. I love this story. It will stay with me for for very long time

Great Follow up Story to the main tales

Nice flowing story that builds on one of the main characters, it is different to run through it all in a single person view but was a joy too listen to this novella, I look forward to more stories from this series.
My only little issue is that the narrative was told by a female narrator when the storyline was totally from a male characters point of view. It is wonderful narration and i really enjoy the others, but it just felt slightly wrong to have the same narrator from different characters perspective

i dislike Jurgen now..

I had to skip parts due to Jurgen acting too whiny. on and on with the inner monologue. WE GET IT. JURGEN SAD.

An enjoyable, easy listen.

Compliments the Skyward books perfectly. It adds insights into side characters often missing in other series.
