Wow! Ever After took me by surprise, I did not expect to like this story as much as I did. Odessa Gillespie Black is a talented author she drew me in with her words and extraordinary imagination. I loved the premise, and the storyline is brilliantly composed, a perfect blend of mystery, paranormal, suspense, and gothic. The characters are well-developed, multifaceted, intriguing, and thoroughly captivating.

A stellar performance by Shaina Summerville, she captured the nuances of the characters, the emotions and intensity, literally bringing the story to life. Ever After is an excellent start to the Cursed Series, and I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed this storyline. There was lots of twists and turns that kept me hooked throughout this audiobook. The storyline had a lot going on and lots of complex characters. The book is written very well and a fantastic performance from the narrator.

This was a good haunted house mystery. There were lots of strange events happening and the inhabitants of the house were quite odd. It was all very mysterious and I was as clueless as the main character until later in the book when the secrets were revealed. I loved all the suspense especially towards the end of the book.

Cole and Allie have sparks for the beginning yet he's so rude to her. (Honestly at first I'm not sure why she does not fire him, unless it because of his uncle). And boy does this home have some secrets. Cole actually knows them but Allie does not, except that he is the man in her dreams. This is one of those books you want to shake the characters and just say spill it! I really liked the staff especially the 2 ladies hired to help her out. Did I miss who hired them, certainly the sister didn't, perhaps the butler, but I thought they said the deceased lady that left her the house? I did get confused over a few aspects of the story. Like was the lady that owned the house the sister reincarnated? And in the beginning I don't remember a scene where the family finds out that the house is not left to them. So does that not make them related? Book 2 could turn out very interesting. The narration was spot on and made this a fun and easy listen.
