Oh how I love, love, love Chase Abandonato, and it’s so good that we get another Chase book. Thank you Mil for your sacrifice. It’s our gain. That said, Chase is so full of hate in the first chapters of this story (thanks Mil), I wasn’t sure if he would ever find peace, even when Luciano was thrown into the lion’s den. It was obvious that Luciano was the exact opposite of Mil, and that is why it worked between them. However, I was of the mindset that she was a little too weak. How wrong was I? When push came to shove, Luciana gave it her all, she had a strong spirit, and thankfully, Chase didn’t break it. Another fantastic addition to the series, a series I find highly addictive. I can’t seem to get enough, and I hate the waiting. I started this series on audio, and that is how I will finish the series. The narrators have been perfect throughout, they sound exactly as I would imagine. The only problem, I have to wait a little longer for audible release. Full five stars.
