Very weird stories and unsettling voices

My children did not enjoy this book at all. The story I listened to was very strange with horrible voices used by the narrator...stuff of nightmares!

Whenever someone whispers in the story this narrator whispers too so silently that you can't hear what is being said. Even if no one is whispering the narrator tends to lower her voice a lot, almost to a whisper, which makes it hard to understand her. I had to slow the speed down a little too. I don't like the narration.

What does Jilly Bond bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

When I listen to this book, I really like the voices.
