Summary

Great performance, dull story

I deeply dislike that it’s often written in the present tense, which gives the stoy a dull pace. Also, it’s nowhere near the level of the Odyssey in terms of language, story telling or poetry. If you haven’t listened to the Odyssey read by the same narrator, Claudio Carini, I very much recommend it. It’s a much more enjoyable than this one.
