I took a bit of a gamble on this one but I am so glad I tried it.
This feels a lot like Star Trek but I would compare it more to the Orville. Brilliantly funny, amazing cast of characters and still plenty action scenes the way you would want them from this setting.
Absolutely brilliant all round and the narrator did an excellent job bringing it all to live.
Can’t rate highly enough, hope there will be more!

Slow to start but wow what an epic adventure. Brilliant characters bring a universe of adventure to life. I wish there were more books in this collection

It is a decent scifi action adventure. Feels something like watching a StarTrek movie - colorful characters, good amount of action, captain pressed with moral decisions, and just generally smarter than your average spacefaring action. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
