An exceptional individual with a unique perspective.

This book gives a brilliant insight into daily life as a NASA employee, and as an inhabitant of the International Space Station, as well as the facinating history of one man, from his somewhat humble beginnings and how he achieved his dreams. Scott's candour, honesty and unbridled realism is very refreshing, whether he is speaking about his years as a pilot, personal issues with his health and marriage, or daily maintenance to a space toilet.

Recommended to anyone seeking something different, inspirational or simply informative.

For those of us who sit here on earth ticking off the days, listen to this inspiration of a man. WOW what an amazing story! Absolutely brilliant , a heartfelt story from the heart and a truly epic legend of a great astronaut. Highly recommended ! I wish I could scrub this from my brain and enjoy again for the first time. Fantastic.
