Summary

You've been looking for something magical...meet your new obsession! Twilight meets Harry Potter. The Star-Crossed Series has over 13,000 reviews on Goodreads and Amazon.

In the fourth installment of the Star-Crossed Series, we find Eden Matthews a prisoner in the very household she set out to destroy. She is without magic and engaged to the same boy who betrayed her and everyone she loves. With her wedding looming on the horizon, conditions for her people continue to worsen, and her goal of offering her kingdom freedom seems further away than ever.

Her brother is free, however, and building a rebellion that hopes to rescue her. Eden's parents are working with the Resistance, and inside the Citadel Eden finds more allies than she thought possible. However, there is more at stake for Eden than just an unwanted marriage. Her heart is on the line, too, as she fights the pressures of palace life, the prejudice ingrained in her people, and a seemingly unbeatable king.

Stunning book, keeps you on the edge of your seat

Truly stunning book, so gripping, and I loved it.
This is so well written, with twists, turns, ups and downs

😳

Where do I start..... they story has great details and potential but the main character is nothing short of an idiot. Sorry but she is clueless to what’s happening in front of her face including the epic love in front of her face. The whining like a five year old could also be a lot less. Between the two the last book is especially difficult to get to e end of.

Unbearable plot with the most unlikable heroine

I thought I couldn't hate the protagonist any more than possible when I read the previous book but I was dead wrong. There was so much misery and stupidity in the book that by the time you get to the happy part your eyes have rolled so much they've fallen out of your skull. It's amazing how simple open communication and honestly could've salvaged so much of the entire series. Unfortunately even with the truth thrown in her face over and over since book 1 the main character is too oblivious and stupid to figure anything out.

Interesting Plot but ....

Interesting story however I started to find Eden truly annoying in this book. I found myself skipping forward to finish the book.

Great series

I love all the previous books in this series, but Eden (the heroine) in this last book somehow became weak and unlikable. She doubt everyone, their abilities and was very “mean girl” toward all the other characters. Could not stand her; only finishing because I love the other characters IE Lilly, Talbott, Kiran, Avalon etc

Enjoyable

If you’re looking for a book series with a strong female lead, this is not that. The main character: a female with the potential to grow into a strong lead, lacks the development the reader anticipates throughout. Overall the story is good, and you will enjoy it if you’re okay with a damsel in distress/ boy crazy type of female.

Got too stupid

In a bid to draw out her series, the author has made her characters so stupid, esp fhe heroine that I cannot listen any further. Fhe author also regularly uses the incorrect word. She needs a dictionary.

Beating a dead horse in book form.

Just don't. The first book had such promise. I held on through the second. Third I was annoyed. This book omg it's torturous. If you are hoping for growth I. the heroine. It doesn't come.
