Summary

After Claire McEvoy’s first attempt at love was shattered by devastating violence, she built walls, barriers, and obstacles to protect herself from everyone, including her family. She learned to cope by devoting her entire life to taking care of everyone else’s needs and happiness.

Second Chance Romance

Encroachment by Monica DeSimone is a second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Holly Holt.

This is the second book in the Coach’s Shadow Trilogy. I can’t wait for the third and final book to be released. Each book in the series is centered on a different couple but I would still recommend reading them in order.

I cannot wait to discover more books by Monica in the future.

Holly did a great job on the narration. There were a few spots throughout the story that she repeated a sentence or phrase but not enough to distract from the story.

I enjoyed the storyline and the characters as always i certainly loved Holly Holt’s narration.
