I loved Emily's narration. I'm not a model but I felt this book hit close to home. It talks about experiences many women go through in regards to their body/appearance as a measure of worth and the messages that get engraved in us early on in life by family,popular media and culture.

It also builds up well to how these beliefs are unhelpful and toxic both for women and men and how they set the precedent for sexual abuse against women.

It was a book that brought up emotions and highlights the importance of feminism in a pragmatic way that cannot be ignored or discredited. Thank you Emily for writing this and opening up about your struggles and internal conflicts.
