What an extraordinary life , found the style a bit preachy but she has been through so much and come out on top so I can forgive the sanctimonious delivery. Open and honest. Her recovery through AA and holistic healing of her cancer are truly inspirational

I really enjoyed Elles recount of her interesting life and how she has navigated challenges. There are some parts in the recording where sound quality is poor but still well worth the read.

Honesty, authenticity, humility

I'd imagined (hoped for) vivacity and flow.
I think if someone else had narrated it, it might have been marginally improved.
I find nothing of substance. The delivery, like the content is monotonous and empty.
The one section approaching any sense of actual emotion is the description of standing up in AA.
I stuck with it , hoping it would develop and improve. The style alas remained resolutely beige.
There are copious amounts of platitudes and homilies. It reads like a budget airline magazine.
Elle clearly has had and is having an exceptional life. She quotes joy and service as being central to her 'value system'. Alas, as a writer, for this punter she's missed the mark by a country mile.
