I really enjoyed listening to this book because it was read by the author who could put the right feeling and emphasis on the words he read making it more real and believable. I liked that there was no nastiness. No getting at the Queen

A very informative book, made me realise how much HM experienced in her lifetime and all the changes she saw. Giles should be commended not only for the book but his narration. I could listen to him for hours.
