My son and I both liked this one

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was an interesting listen. First, I think the narrator did a good job. His accent made it very interesting and fitting for a story about Albert Einstein. I think the premise is clever and thought they executed it well. My 11 year old son and I listened to this one together and we both enjoyed it. He more than me, but the salient point being we both got something out of it. I will warn you, though, it has to build up a bit before the story really takes off. Thankfully, it is just the first couple of chapters that are a little slow. After that, though, I felt the pacing was good. All in all, I would recommend this one.

A Novel Idea

With a twist on history, this book is full of science fiction and fantasy. There is more religion than I thought there would be but I wasn't distracted by it. This story was an interesting way of explaining how Albert Einstein was able to come up with his ideas and theories. The story begins centuries ago and jumps around in time. Easy to follow and interesting to see where it was going.

I requested this book because it sounded very interesting. The writing was well done. The narration was enjoyable. I know several people I would recommend this to.

Time travel at its best!

First, I have to start off by stating that I got this book free of charge in exchange for a review, but as I always state, this does not in any way impact my review. My reviews are always honest and my own.

I found this story to be entertaining, enlightening, and a must read for those who believe that time travel has possibilities. It is a well-crafted novel with complexities and depth that many will find a fascinating read. I highly recommend this to any adult young or older. A fascinating perspective you won’t want to put down. I hope there is another book along the same lines in my future.

Super cool concept!

Overall, I think the concept was really, really cool. I absolutely love genius minds, and this was a dope take on AE.

My only issue with it, it came off really religiously based (which is obvious I.e. Moses/Jesus/etc), but even though I’m not a religious person, I still found it appealing enough to listen to completion.

It’s Okay

As exciting as the book description is - splashes of religion, history, myth, legend, science - it just didn’t do it for me.

Our religious figures - Jesus, Moses - played a heavier part than I anticipated and them meddling in human affairs (they didn’t feel they were) just seemed oddly out of place. Even for someone like me, who is not a devout Christian by standards.

It was an interesting story and it stayed true to the book blurb, but it just felt odd. Perhaps if a young Albert Einstein wasn’t the central character, and other religious fictional icons were used, it would have developed a better sci-fi/fantasy adventure.

Narrator was fun to listen to, with his German tone to the English words and German names.

Although it ‘wasn’t for me’, it seemed like a well written story.

Historical Fiction Mixes with Mythology and Sci-Fi

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

This book is historical fiction where a young Albert Einstein is entrusted with an item that unknown to him is of great cosmic significance. The novel skips around the various stages of his life and he has paranormal experiences with religious, mythological, mystic and alien beings.

There are important characters in Judeo-Christianity and Atlantis that feature heavily into the plot.
If you have a young reader who wants a story with scope and discussions of the philosophical nuances of the different forces at play then this will give them a lot to chew on while they learn about the life of one of the most brilliant men in history.

The narrator balances a number of different european accents very well.
