Summary
A past life, a past war, and a past love. Peter St John can’t foresee a future until he confronts his past sins.
When photojournalist Peter St John returns home after a two-year absence, the life he’s been running from catches up. For years his mother’s presence, coupled with Pete’s own psychic gift, has triggered visits to 1917. There, he relives battles of the Great War, captures the heyday of Coney Island on canvas, and falls in love with an enchanting and enigmatic songstress named Esme. Present-day Pete still pines for Esme, and his love endures...but so does his vivid memory of killing her.
When he discovers family heirlooms that serve as proof of his crimes, Pete will have to finally confront his former life. He also meets a young woman - who is more than what she seems - with a curious connection to his family. As century-old secrets unravel, can Pete reconcile a murder from his past before it destroys his future?

Good Read
Narrator is one of my Favs! Good plot with a bit of spook added to it! I also enjoyed reading about some of the wartime conditions. Does make one reflect on how it must have been back in 1919. Especially enjoyed how the author included present day alongside the past. Made this very easy to follow. Thank you for this book!

Brilliant Wrap Up of a Stellar Series
I enjoyed this final book of Ghost Gifts. Laura Spinella did an excellent job of wrapping up this fascinating series. I’m kind of sad that the series is finished! I thought the narration was excellent, production values perfect, but all three books have been wonderfully done by Nicol Zanzarella. I’m not sure how much Scott Merriman added to the story, as Zansarella’s male voices have always been very nicely done. Bravo, Ms. Spinella! I look forward to more wonderful stories!

Need to exchange for correct recording
Could not say if good or not as it jumps from chapter 2 to chapter 17 to 3 to 16 etc etc. it’s HORRIBLY edited. I’m only giving 1’s because it cannot be followed correctly. The first two books were great. Very sad I cannot read/listen to, the third book.
Please correct these issues and I will reevaluate the review.
Edit to review:
Was able to exchange for a proper recording. Loved the book - a little frustrated at the daftness of Pete
(main character). Loved the back and forth so we could also learn the outcome of the 1900’s characters. A very nice tie-up of all the connecting storylines.
Very nice series - well read/narrated. The narrators did a nice job with the characters.

Captivating and unique story line.
A beautiful ending to a 3 book series. <3 The ending to this book along with ghost gifts (the first...) and second book show the mind of a very creative writer and captivating story line. Loved it! I listened straight through for 5 days all day during work. :)

It got better
When I first started to read this, I wasn't a big fan of the main character, but he grew on me and I ended up loving the book as much as the others.
