You could read that (not that I agree with all of it), and not know it was written @ 70 years ago. Excellent book

Enjoyed listening to the book that I had read in the 1970’s as a teenager and enjoyed. My only question is were there 2 narrators as sometimes there appeared to be

I heard the free versions on YouTube years ago, but its so much better with a human narrator, who did a perfectly good job 👏. This is still the best counter argument to Darwin, and the best advocacy for catastrophism I've ever heard, stated in the usual eloquent manner that Velikovsky is known for.

I'd recommend this book before getting worlds in Collision, now I've heard both, I think that book is a more appropriate sequel to this, but I wouldn't say its necessary to go in that order.

An amazing book, I am so glad I downloaded it. What an wonderful mind, I just wish I had had a chance to meet him or attend his lectures/classes. I shall be downloading more of his works.

I caught this whilst it was available in the audible plus catalogue, so I went in with zero expectations. And it was was absolute banger! A must listen for anybody who likes to know everything. Earth in Turmoil is a first class primer about how we know what we know about the different geological ages and the causes of those (often catastrophic) transitions. 5 stars! will listen again, even if I have to part with a precious credit to do so.
